The last time we were down ( a year ago) it was under$50 usd. I think it was $35. Some US carriers have it included in the ticket cost. We fly Westjet out of Canada and it is not included. It might fluctuate, depending on the exchange rate. I remember it being higher years ago when the colones was 500 to $1usd not 600 to $1usd.
How much is the exit tax? I've not heard anyone mention tis yet.
The exit tax does vary. I don't know why???
When we stamp out on feet at the border, it's only $7.
But, like Doug posted...I think ours was about $30 (included in plane fare) when we traveled by plane. ?? Why was it higher by plane than be feet??? (because it's Costa Rica) Lol
