What does it cost to own a horse in Costa Rica? I am looking for information on costs associated with owning a horse, not including board. So cost of feed, tack, saddles, vet costs, etc. My wife and daughter both compete in Eventing/ show jumping/ dressage. What is the cost of a good horse? We are in the Nicoya Penninsula area, so prices will be different than Central valley or San Isidro, but this will give us an idea.
