YES...that was our 1996 Hyundai 4 x 4 Gas Galloper Exceed.

I say gas...because most of the Gallopers here are diesel. I wish mine was...but it has been a great vehicle for the age and just for future reference...we've had this vehicle for about 4 years now and so it was about 20 years old when we bought it and it cost us $4,000. Which was a GREAT PRICE for a car that age in Costa Rica... YIKES Lol

Thank You. I did not recognize the model . It is not one I have seen in the States.  I do a lot of 4 wheel drive exploring .  I will definitely  need something similar when we get to Costa Rica.

The Galloper is a GREAT vehicle and very popular in Costa Rica.  I've been told they do not make them or sell them in the USA.

I've also been told they are the "cheaper version" of or similar to the POPULAR and Expensive Land Cruiser.

For as OLD as our is...it has been AWESOME !

In the area that we are in, the Galloper is a popular vehicle. It is easy to work on , mechanically and easy to get parts. We imported a Honda Pioneer 1000-5 side by side, along with a few other neighbors. They are a blast to drive and you just bounce over the terrible Costa Rican roads. 2 of my neighbors have both vehicles and hardly drive the Galloper anymore.

I see you figured out how to attach an image!  Great!

Those Hondas look like a really FUN ride!  It's definitely....something we need and would have fun using!

Are there any restrictions to using ATVs/UTVs? I know here in the US you cannot drive them on public roads.

No restrictions other than they MUST have plates and get an inspections every year just like a car.

A lot of people use ATVs as their main mode of transportation.
