Well aware of the Roman Catholic presence, but are there other denominations there also?  Any english speaking?  I seen a comment from the host that he is a pastor, does he have a church?

 Hey Esquire,

You are correct about the Catholic presence...

Yes, there are other denominations.

  • Evangelical - Lots
  • JW - Jehovah Witness - Lots
  • Assemblies of God - Lots
  • Baptist - very few
  • Methodist - very few

According to an article on Google... https://www.indexmundi.com/costa_rica/religions.html

They say...
Roman Catholic 71.8%, Evangelical and Pentecostal 12.3%, other Protestant 2.6%, Jehovah's Witness 0.5%, other 2.4%, none 10.4% (2016 est.)

However, with all of our travels... we see a lot more JW than they are stating...but the others seem accurate.

Yes, I am a pastor, but do not have a church here...we attend church online most Sundays and finding an English speaking church is very difficult. Not many of those, but I am sure you will find some in the San Jose area.

Hope that helps you out...
