Hey All, I'm going to be spending a couple weeks around  Lake Arenal  end of Feb into March.  How bad are the Mosquito's during that time ?

 Hey Al,

I've not spent much time around Lake Arenal, but in MOST of Costa Rica, there is NOT much of a problem with Mosquitos. However, Lake Arenal might be a little different, but I kinda doubt it, but honestly don't know.

Hopefully someone in this forum has been there and can give you a better answer.

We stayed at "Toad Hall" last time and bugs were only bad after dark. Great food ,great owner/manager if she is still there.
