That's cool...    I think those people have a YT channel too...if it is who I am thinking about.   It's getting real and exciting!

Their YT channel is The Dufresnes. They deal primarily in the Samara area.

Have you been to Samara before? it is off the beaten path.. literally down a  highway from Nicoya..lol there is lots of beach and some small boutique shops. quite a few restaurants and just an overall small town local flavor. I have been there a friend of mine has lived there for 6 yrs now and loves it. Its a hippie paradise. not allot of activities though as it is really a local vacation spot not a huge tourism spot which is great in its own way.  2 hrs from Liberia only because the road system is narrow and slow and winds allot. Rent a car as you are at the bottom of a hill in Samara, or take the bus as there are bus stops. Enjoy your vacation.

Thanks Dale for the info! yes....Samara is just what we need. Smallish, layed back. Hope the rain isn't to bad that time of the year. We have studied Costa Rica for the past 6 months. I know there is nothing better than boots on the ground to see if you like a place. We are planning on moving down in the not to distant future. This will be a recon/vacation trip. Cant wait to experience the life style.
